Our current operation is based on the Foundation Counseling Course which is one of the most commonly used and fundamental courses in clinical practice. This course provides a foundation for career problems and family/Social issues and emotional issues. It will also help you to overcome, of client’s mental problem and provide an easy-to-understand overview of how to facilitate positive change in a person and how to conduct counselling research.
Counselling Studies seeks to understand and clarify our mind’s pains, sufferings, and illnesses, and to explore and practice various coping methods. In this “Counseling Practice and Research” course, you will experience stages and processes of counselling practice through counselling videos, learn concrete counselling techniques, and explore interesting and up-to-date research methods in the field of Counseling.
This Online Foundation Counseling Course (FCC) offering is a stand-alone program for those that are

Course Highlights:
- This program contains foundation levels: introduces the key concepts of Counseling
- Advanced Counseling: Practice with depression treatment; students will take both levels respectively.
- Both levels require 8+24=32 hours / must be completed within a maximum of 8 weeks
- Lectures: 2 sessions/week and 2 hour/session
- Students will require practice with clients (live or “mock”)
- Students will give a written exam and interview before getting a certificate.

- You will learn to understand the primary motivations and reasoning behind most forms of behaviour (both productive and destructive behaviours).
- How the mind processes day-to-day experiences and transforms your interpretation of them into emotions, fears, passions, actions and ultimately, outcomes.
How to carry out Counseling practice sessions and also understand a useful framework for
structuring your sessions with others.
New understanding of client ‘problems’, ‘causes’, and ‘process of change’
Various theories of counselling (psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, humanistic, and family counselling approaches)

This online counseling program can be completed wherever you are but you will need a good internet connection to do so. Great care has been taken to ensure high-quality content delivery and learning without the use of a lecture hall. You will receive a “pass/fail” grade that is determined by the quality of the assignments turned in. If you exert a reasonable amount of effort, you should have no problem passing the course.
Will I have contact with an Instructor?
Yes. A teaching team marks your assignments each week and provides you with ongoing feedback on your exercises and reflections. The courses use a teaching team of higher designations, who are also veteran practitioners and supervisors. All are qualified to teach at this course, and all have strong experience in clinical work, teaching and/or supervising.

Training Course Content
Unit 1: Using counselling skills
In this unit, you will learn to identify core counselling skills alongside understanding how these are practised in a counselling relationship. You will gain an understanding of how to establish an effective working relationship and will consider the boundaries which need to be respected in this sensitive role.
Unit 2: Introduction to counselling skills theories
This unit will introduce you to the key elements of the main theoretical approaches in counselling, psychodynamics, person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. There are key practical differences between these theories and you will hone your skills in understanding the significant importance of counselling theory.
Unit 3: Diversity and ethics in the use of counselling skills
This unit covers the concepts of diversity and ethics. You will gain an understanding of anti-discriminatory practice, discover the key aspects of an ethical framework, and discover ways to address diversity in counselling skills practice.
Unit 4: Counselling skills and personal development
This unit encourages you to develop self-understanding, identifying your own values and beliefs and the ability to reflect on your personal qualities and skills.
